IROAP Publication Process

A structured workflow for manuscript submission, editorial review, publication preparation, repository access, and certificate issuance.

Publication workflow

Follow each stage from application to certificate request

IROAP follows a structured publication process designed to ensure that submitted manuscripts are properly reviewed, verified, prepared, and published in accordance with established publication standards.

1Apply and attach payment proof
2Respond to editorial verification
3Proceed to publication and records
2
Step 2

Approval for Publication

  • Once the manuscript has successfully completed the initial assessment and has been approved to proceed with publication, the researcher or corresponding author will receive an official email notification of approval.
  • Only manuscripts that have received publication approval will proceed to editorial preparation and formatting.
3
Step 3

IMRAD Formatting, Editorial Review, and Author Verification

  • Upon approval, the manuscript will undergo editorial preparation and, where applicable, will be structured or converted into IMRAD format - Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion - in accordance with IROAP publication standards.
  • The IROAP Editorial Team will review the manuscript for structure, presentation, consistency, and other publication requirements.
  • Any information, statements, data, references, author details, or portions of the manuscript that require clarification or verification will be referred back to the researcher or corresponding author for confirmation.
  • The accuracy of all information confirmed by the researcher remains the responsibility of the author/s.

Researchers are expected to respond to verification requests within seventy-two (72) hours from receipt of the communication to prevent unnecessary delays in the publication process.

If no response is received within thirty (30) calendar days from the date a verification request is sent by the IROAP Editorial Team, the publication application may be considered inactive or void. Reinstatement or continuation of the publication process may be subject to additional administrative or publication fees, where applicable.

Step 4

Finalization and Publication

  • Once all editorial checks, formatting requirements, author verifications, and necessary revisions have been satisfactorily completed, the manuscript will proceed to final publication.
  • The finalized paper will be published through the IROAP publication site or repository and may also be made available through applicable open-access, indexing, or academic discovery platforms in accordance with IROAP publication and indexing arrangements.
5
Step 5

Publication Confirmation

  • Upon successful publication, the researcher or corresponding author will receive an email notification confirming that the publication process has been completed.
  • The notification will provide the information necessary for the researcher to access and view the published paper through the IROAP Repository or Publication Site.
  • Researchers are encouraged to review the published version and retain the publication information for their academic and professional records.
6
Step 6

Certificate of Publication

  • The Certificate of Publication represents the final administrative stage of the publication process.
  • Certificates are issued upon request by the researcher or author/s and are not automatically generated upon publication.
  • Researchers who require a Certificate of Publication should submit the appropriate request to IROAP following the prescribed procedure.
  • Once the request has been verified, IROAP will process and issue the Certificate of Publication in accordance with applicable issuance guidelines.

Important Author Responsibility

Researchers and authors are responsible for monitoring their registered email address and responding promptly to communications from the IROAP Editorial Team throughout the publication process.

Verification requests should be addressed within 72 hours whenever possible.

Failure to respond within 30 calendar days may result in the publication application being considered inactive or void and may require additional fees if the researcher requests that the publication process be resumed.
