Submission Guidelines

How authors submit research papers to IROAP for editorial screening, publication support, and online access.

Submission process

  1. Create or sign in to an author account.
  2. Complete the article metadata, authorship, affiliations, and corresponding author details.
  3. Provide searchable IMRAD section information and funding details when applicable.
  4. Upload the final PDF manuscript for screening.
  5. Track editorial screening, peer review, revision, acceptance, rejection, or publication status online.

What IROAP may assist with

IROAP may assist with submission checks, metadata completeness, citation display, repository readiness, and editorial communication. Assistance does not transfer authorship, ownership, research accountability, or legal responsibility away from the authors.

Author warranties

By submitting, authors confirm that the manuscript is original, accurate to the best of their knowledge, legally publishable, and supported by any required ethics approvals, permissions, and co-author consent.

File and data handling

Uploaded PDFs are stored for editorial and publication purposes. Metadata is used for searching, citation display, repository records, and publication administration.

Post-acceptance access

Accepted papers are posted for online access in the IROAP publication repository and then prepared for exposure to Zenodo, OpenAIRE, Google Scholar, and the IROAP publication repository, subject to platform-specific requirements and timelines.
